    American born and Hawaiian grown, Shawn Kaho’olemana Naone is a hybrid native of sorts, educated both in Hawaiian aboriginal and Western methodologies. Originally from O’ahu he currently resides in Puna where he continues to advocate for the balance between the human existence and planet.

  • Keoni Payton

    Born on Oahu and of Kanaka Maoli descent, Keoni currently resides in the Puna district on the Big Island and is the founder of Farmers Market Hawaii, one of Hawaii’s biggest brands, alongside 4 other successful businesses. Next to being an artist and advocate for cultural legacy, being a father of 5 is one of his proudest accompishments.

  • Nicole Mueller

    Nicole, a Big Island resident since 2016, is a University of Hawai’i graduate, receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Tropical Agroecology. Her research experience ranges from holistic and sustainable food systems to farm waste management through the University of Hawai’i and Cornell University. She is passionate about sustainable food production systems and community development throughout Hawai’i to promote social and economic development while supporting local culture.

    Over 30 years experience in propagating, maintaining, and conditioning farms, Jaerick is regarded as one of the foremost experts in Hawaiian agriculture.
